Hi all
some of you know this project is on for a while and is going slow...verrryyyyy slowww...

as it is my daily driver i cant afford to have it off the road for longer than 2 days - weekend.

so far ive been through plenty of problems but lads on mitsipieces.com were very helpful

full thread on mitsipieces:

http://www.mitsipieces.com/forums/showt ... ct-endless

long history made short:

car was in bits when i got it so i had to put plenty of effort to look "ok". the worse possible color was covered by nice white wrap

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a63 ... 9pwtwd.jpg

so this is the outcome

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a63 ... mzss8l.jpg

and front bumper with xenon fogs

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a63 ... d0sg8z.jpg

also interior needed a bit of revamp

roof lining was in bits

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a63 ... 1df16b.jpg

so....i put a new one on it :)

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a63 ... 45729a.jpg

cut to shape

[url=http://s1287.photobucket.com/user/wagonwrap/media/roofcuttoshape_zps32fc6c33.jpg.html]

and here it is

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a63 ... fc6c33.jpg

pictures dont do it any justice but i assure you it looks great

i cant post pix for some reason but you can view them online

i got the bottom end rebuild with great help of my mate (piorun)

done few other bits and pieces

most time took me converting mivec engine loom to match space star dash loom. not an easy task but i hope i got everything right

if weather allow i will take 1.3 engine out on monday 17th nov and get mivec engine fitted.

i have a question lads...
my space star is fitted with immo.... on mivec dash engine loom there is a cable that goes to fuel pump relay - no such cable on ss dash loom

where should i plug it in? before immo box or after?

ignition--> puel pump cable-->immo box

or

ignition--> immo box -->fuel pump cable

or ignore it completely on separate loom???

I'm only guessing here, but if you're using a non immobilised ECU, then you should just be able to bypass the immobiliser.

I'd imagine that the fuel relay would be tied to the ignition. Perhaps run that one past an auto electrician...

ehhhh...

well... things are not going well...

had to declare car off the road for a while to avoid paying tax for no reason

cross-member doesn't fit and engine mounts are sitting bit too low. need to get this sorted. brccrx has a great idea of making a customized out of 2 colt cross-members. i hope he is right.

another issue is electrics... cant get the starter to work...
