6A12 Mivec swap lancer

A lil help haha

iv just bought a 1998 mivec lancer and im looking to drop a fto with a 6A12 2.0 mivec into it ....iv heard the engine and box is plug and play just to use the mounts of the fto but the 5 stud conversion is ment to be a bit tricky with the rear arm and the track width......any help would be really apreciated thanks

Actually, if you are not using brembos, then you basically bolt the complete FTO rear trailing arm set up, and then bolt the FTO front hubs to match the width front and rear

@broomfish savage build man! i liked it haha.....but so your saying engine and box should be plug and play along with the rear trailig arm set up just my track width on front and rear will be wider? im looking to drop as much of the fto into the ck2 like engine, box, suspension and breaks ...cheers again lad and i will be posting everything all my progress on this

If you bolt the rear trailing arm set up from the FTO in i dont think you will get a wider track than you already have. Last time i had it on the ground i measured the track with the evo 5 fronts and the FTO rears and the difference was about 30mm so i need a couple of 15mm spacers for the rear.
