ok i have a used parts guy whom i am trying to buy front post facelift body parts from. Comparing pre & post facelift, obviously the front bumper and headlights are visually different. bonnets r the same. but front fenders r different for sure. coz they have different part numbers; i checked on ASA. this parts guy has a load of pre and post facelift fenders mixed together! is there anyway to tell which is which?

I thought they were the same.
Maybe they are slightly different to accommodate the single piece headlights in the facelift but visually I don't think there is a difference

They are quite different, they both bolt onto the body the same but obviously the early guards accomodate the 2 piece headlamps so they are chunky around the indicater unlike the late guards that are more spacious so the 1 piece headlamp will fit in, without some serious modification you cant fit 1 piece headlamps into early guards and vise versa, if your doing a facelift front, get facelift guards
