New problem discovered....

Spark plug cable seems like full of carbon in the core for all of 4 of the cables...even after normal clean up uisng small brush still got some stubborn carbon deposit in it making bad contact.
Anyone know how to clean that stuff?

About RM650 if not mistaken. I bought a lot of other stuff together with that shipment as well.

The King bearing (main + con rod bearing + thrust washer + the piston all together) so roughly that price...

Bought a temporary spark plugs cables and also another set of backup original Mivec Plugs (two tips)

Found a place to do diagnostic for fueling....report show currently running rich. Now browsing around for aftermarket piggyback ecu to solve it.

Fill the new ones with black window sealer so they are a bit stronger before you fit them.

Day One of dismantle engine:
Wanted to do seal change (Gasket, O ring, etc etc) due to blueish exhaust smoke and strong smell of unburn fuel.
Found the engine to be very worn out.

Day 2:
Seems like a lot of stuff with wear and tear need to replace.

Engine taken out from the car:

Removed cam cover: Lots of gum (Black harden tar)

Upper cam tray: Kinda black.

The head will send to machine shop for doing the port and polish (Intake and exhaust)

Engine look (Bare) and kinda small

My old piston (original Mivec piston) taken out during the overhaul. Make way for an oversize piston (82mm)

Piston pin (Original Mivec piston ring) worn out.

Mivec head comes back from machine shop after 2 weeks (Chemical cleanning, Valve seal changed, Port and polished)

The worn out bearings (can feel the scrach groove by fingers - very deep scratches)

After 1st 1,000km travel, (run in period) change engine oil and filter. Notice its so dark the engine oil

Minor problems after run in discovered...

Engine oil leak near the aircond compressor to the floor.

Found out the aftermarket Defi Oil pressure adaptor ring (O-ring rubber) worn out.

Solution, Move the defi oil pressure sensor to the head area with a Brass T junction connector.

2nd minor problem discovered 5,000km after overhauled.

The cold water from radiator to engine hose turn vacumed and in squashed form
