So i recently got the bodyshop to respray the car inside and out, and got them to install a Gen 2 post facelift spoiler while at it. Now my car has fresh Scotia White, and I am stoked as the spoiler basically transformed the look of the car but i am not sure of some details. Here are some pictures and if its installed wrongly please tell me so.

Are the gaps supposed to be like this? Does this look normal?

So this is how the guys installed it. They drilled 1 hole on this side and then 1 on the other, and then because the spoiler already has screw threads, 2 nuts were used to tighten them in place. Is it like this from the factory, or am i missing out something?

Correct me if i am wrong too, but are there supposed to be little velcro-like fasteners on both sides of the spoiler, where it touches, the rear tailgate glass?

Do you have any idea if thats the correct way to install the spoiler, as in, it comes from the factory installed like this? Actually those paintshop buggers have lost the velcro straps that came with the spoiler... but by a stroke of luck i have these.....

These are supposed to be tailgate glass fasteners (but i think they are very close to, if not the same thing as the spoiler velcro fasteners) but for some reason the guy doing the removal and reinstallation for my tailgate glass did not use it so i was thinking of using them for the spoiler. I could not find the part numbers on ASA for the spoiler velcro fasteners so... yea...
