ok i was thinking of getting a 4g92 mivec head and put into my us spec lancer es.
question is, how many modifications do i really need for it to work? do i need an aftermarket ecu?

No its same as the 4G93 hybrid. Bolts straight on but the main concern is clearance between hood and oil cap. I might machine down the oil cap neck its rather long. Ill flush it to the body of valve cover to avoid hitting the bonnet.

There is a guy in Jamaica who rallies a Mirage Cup car with a 4G94 engine in it. The engien is very torquey but we have to wait until he comes here to compete against our local 4G92

its doable.. ive been researching for awhile and its no noob conversion..
i might let someone do it for me coz i havent done a head swap before..
hint, go look into the australian lancer/mirage sites..

What cambelt would you use due to the taller 4G94 block + Mivec head? Cause the 4G93 Mivec dudes use a 4G94 cambelt...

I see, I always thought the 4G94 belt was 159T... and that the 4G93 and 94 block are different. Thanks

does anyone know how high this would rev how much power it makes? also what would you do about ecu and injectors. and could you still use the mivec pistons with all the 4g92 bottom end? coz i have to rebuild my 4g92 mivec very soon and trying to decide betwen 1600cc 1800cc or 2000cc

but you have a 94 lancer, this means if you use a 4g94 you will need to modify mounts.
