Quick video of the Mivec engine in the blue mirage

Engines on 288,000km and still going strong!

Are you using your mivec tranny with your 93T engine? how is it?

Yep I am using a gen 1 mivec LSD gearbox

The box is good, the gear ratios are fairly short (after a bit of track use I would say you run out of gears at just over 200km/hr) but it handles it fine and the LSD definitely makes a big difference in getting the power to the ground (non-lsd and I was getting wheel spin in 4th gear at 100km/hr in the wet, 3rd gear in the dry)

Now running a Walbro fuel pump and Tomei fuel pressure regulator

Those 2 items plus a Apexi SAFC2 gained me 60kW :D

Dyno tuned to 198.9kW at wheels on 1.3bar of boost

Na they have to be modified, the back 4 inches or so (closest to the door) has to be cut off and have the same section off the mivec guard welded up to it and the length confirmed

Pressure plate died the night after the tune so its up for a new clutch, will hopefully arrive tomorrow so it can be fitted

Went for a Exedy heavy duty button clutch (MBK-7156 mivec fitment still)

First order of business... can someone move this to Projects please? Its definitely no longer mivec...

Second order of business...

Picked myself up a Evo 3 Carbon Fiber bonnet a few weeks ago, just needs a reclear which will be done soon. Also some brand new Buddyclub P1 SF 17x7 wheels, and new Federal 595 Evo tyres

I also finally got my rear hub conversion done so now running 4x114.3 all around :D

So the carbon bonnet is currently off getting re-cleared and repaired, should have it back in a few days...

Also after doing the rear hub conversion I discovered 1 of my handbrake cables had fully seized and the other was very sticky, so both handbrake cables are out and being rebuilt. I also discovered a bushing on the rear left LCA is stuffed... It's like I can't look at the car without finding faults haha

I ended up running it at the drag strip again on Sunday. The track was so slippery I didn't get full traction till 4th gear which is at around 130km/hr and almost 3/4 track, which left me only running a 14.5 as my best
