What was your 60ft time? And what tires?
If you get wheelspin for the first 130km/h, then you should ease off the throttle ;)

I'll have a look at my time slips next time I'm at the car, can't remember 60ft times

I am running Federal 595 Evo tyres which are meant to be fairly decent, and an LSD gearbox. I had also dropped the pressure in the tyres, they were sitting around 22psi each time I checked them

I was keeping it on low boost (10psi) for first and second gear, and only flicking it to high boost (14psi) once in third

Do you have a MIVEC gearbox?

Yep gen 1 with factory LSD... gear ratio's pretty short for the turbo engine but that's not something I'll be changing any time soon

When does the motor run out of puff?
To be honest I think you'd be better off with longer ratios to utilize the broader torque band

Yea the gearbox isn't very well suited, but that's not very high on my priority list. Once the gearbox needs a rebuild I'll look at changing the gear sets

I am not hitting peak boost till about 5000rpm (big ass turbo), peak power is just over 7k from memory

That seems pretty laggy.
When does it start making usable boost?

It's a big turbo on a small engine, gona take a while for it to spool up. It actually works really well though, I can drive it around the city staying pretty well off boost all day every day using hardly any gas, then when it comes time to race, it always stays above that 5000rpm level meaning peak boost at all times

It's kind of like a mivec :P
