Just wondering what size cylinders might be best.
Currently mine has EVO III brakes all round, ie 276mm twin pot fronts and 260mm single pot rears (with larger piston EVO III calipers), plumbed up to a front/rear split and I have a brake bias valve in the rear. On road tyres I can't generate enough weight transfer to need to adjust the valve from minimum but on competition tyres on tarmac the added grip means that the rear can lock first under hard braking, leading to some scary moments unless the valve (lever type) is up 2 notches.
I would like to push more bias to the rear under lighter braking conditions and when grip is lower (in the wet, on gravel etc) and I left foot brake. So I amm thinking a bias pedal box to push more effort to the rears whilst retaining the bias valve to limit the pressure under high effort to prevent the rear from locking.
A nice aticle that explains how each system works -

But back to my question is anyone using a tandem cylinder brake bias pedal box and if so what size cylinders are you using?
