I have both kits here now and they are 100% the same. The 'seco' part number stamped into the parts are the same.
There are 2 spring and 4 rubber bushes around the center on each.

I got the complete master cylinder as well for $65, and Misti wanted $400 + 3 weeks shipping from japan, or $90 for a rebuild kit.

Funky. Wonder why they don't offer the 7156 in racing spec pressures like they do the 6276. Is there any difference in price between two kits specifically which kit (as in plate/pressure spec) did you end up getting?

I own both standards ones. The price difference is just the spigot cover/slide the bearing goes on i guess. For the price of 3 of the standard ones get you the hevy duty one. Since the stock one doesn't slip and is easy to drive i got two standards ones.

The pressure plate/cover is the same part number too.

I got a MBK-6276 and it had 4 springs rather than the spring plus rubber, I didn't like it so got a 7156. :?:

Update:

There is no spigot bearing it is just the release bearing in both kits. The bearings are cheap pressed steel ones. I when through the 4 other aftermarket bearings and the are 100% sleaved inside so will not wear the slide as much. Some are even coated with dry lube as well to reduce wear further. The best 2 where also offset from the center to counter act the pivoting angle of the clutch fork.

The 7156 is the silent clucth kit and should have rubbers in 4 of the 6 points. Thats the extra cost, its quieter and costs more to add the rubber. Turns out that they ran out 6276 parts so just used the 7156 parts for a while and didn't raise the cost.

The 7156 cover is the same too, it just has had extra balancing done and you can see a little weight added to one of the holes around the edge.

So they are 90% the same just the lower cost gets you, springs only and not fully balanced cover.
