Well lads, in need of some information's regarding the matter as ive just swapped in RS Manual box in to FTO and hit the wall with electric side of it.

I have ABS on the car and the sensors on the gearbox were related to it so now when i turn the key to start nothing happen and the ABS light come on.

I still have engine ECU from tip FTO (ive checked the part number and its same as on manuals) and tip gearbox ECU still in as when i removed it it does the same thing so i left it in for now.

Does anyone ever seen any topics about auto to manual on Mitsubishi related forums that could link it on here pls?

All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Seb.

Right lads, i have some update on this!

Took the sensors out the auto box and hooked em up to the wiring left in the engine bay.

I tried the N (neutral) position on the switch and the car still didnt want to crank, so i tried all the positions and got to P (Parking), and...........the car fired up!!!

Happy days i thought so i warm it up and went to test drive the set up. Went slow trough all the gears and all seemed fine.

So ive just pull over to test 0-100 pull, shift in 1-st gear, red line, shift in the 2-nd floor it and it suddenly lost half of the poke!!!! It didnt want to go fast no mater what so i went back home slowly and turn it off to look for the fault in the engine bay.

Now the car doesn't want to crank again and im getting gearbox trouble codes:

31 Low and reverse solenoid valve,
32 Underdrive and reverse solenoid valve,
33 Second solenoid valve,
34 Overdrive solenoid valve,
35 Reduction solenoid valve,
36 Damper clutch control valve

Dont know about the last two.

37, 38.

It looks like it will need more than only switching to P :)

It was like an animal on that first gear! Pity the problems started again!
