Have to change a clutch and decide to go with blueprint clutch kit for mivec 4G92.
Now, one engine two diferent disc diameter 200mm and 215mm in the data base. Which one will fit?? So far no one could tell my "u have to take out your old one and mesure it" :? hehehehe FUNNY

the 215mm clutch is the correct size for the 96-00 4g92 mivec.

exedy have a clutch kit specifically for the 4G92 Mivec. Have look at their website to get the part numbers. The Mivec clutch is unique, clutches from other models tend to not work, or fail early.

I have a new oem spec exedy in my car now and it feels really good. Nice and light for motorway crawls but plenty of bite on firmer gear shifts.
I grabbed the part number off the box in the shed, it's MBK-6276. :D

use B16 clutch cover (220mm) it is bolt-on to 4g92, but with a little machine shop (DIY). I am using it to my 4g92 and you will see the difference. That's why honda's are very fast. you will upgrade also your clutch disc to a bigger one (20 teeth). Look for double diapharm racing B16 clutch cover exedy. 4G92 + B16 clutch assembly. Try to look for that and compare to stock 4g92 clutch cover it's the same. You will see the performance. The only problem is that your clutch very heavy/hard to push put a shim between your flywheel and the B16 clutch cover when you will bolt it on and it will be soft/ligther to your foot when you push.

There is also a OEM 2L galant clutch that bolts on and is cheap. Heavier clamping load but factory disc and spring loaded center.

4g92 + B16 Clutch cover you will not regret it all. The best clutch cover to use on 4g92 sohc and mivec. That the secret of those who win the race.

4g92a sohc 14.6sec quarterMILE. doubleD or racing clutch will fit best/bolt on to 4g92 if everyone can outsource that product. the lastime it run in Honda SiR short track timed 59.69sec surpassing mivec turbo, b16, blacktop, mivecs despite the lack of full set-up and potencial of the car itself.

This B16 clutch cover idea is very interesting. Has anyone else tried this?
So it bolts on perfectly, but the pedal is really stiff? How thick is the shim you use between the flywheel and the clutch cover? What does it look like?

I don't know what the size of the shim spacer my mechanic put it. It must be fit properly on clutch disc to flywheel..and refaced your flywheel.

Allen key size 6mm, the hex bolt must be 6 mm also.

Stock Clutch cover

Im using b16 clutch assembly now I can tell why hondas are fast...

My country fellow said "anyways... guys double D will do... very mechanical @ technical, the process if you want to use b16's...
in time you need imagine the power of 4g92 sohc 14.6sec quarterMILE all you want to load it's there but i'll say there is also want to put like forged pistons, engine balancing eck eck..."

I surpassed Honda CRV in 2nd gear and 3rd gear... imagine that... to think that is Honda CRV is 2.0 liter engine DOHC...my exhaust pipe is still stock...Imagine if you have a headers...

That's pretty cool, it does sort of look like the holes match up.

Some info to update this tread after a longer while :)

Mivec clutch disc is Spline: 22.5 x 20T

I wonder how did U go over that the honda clutch discs are:

90-91 b18a1, 24t/25mm
92-93 b18a1,b17a,b16 24t/26mm
94-01 b18b,b18c,b16 24t/26mm
02-07 k20 type s and non type s 24t/26mm
03-07 k24 24t/26mm
90-01 f22,h22,h23 24t/26mm

Unless one of em?

88 d15 21t/22mm
89-05 d15 d16 d17 20t/22mm

So its not b16 its rather d16/d17 clutch disc that fits Mivec gearbox shaft???

But that clutch is only 212mm disc size not 220mm!!!

Digging more and more there a lot clutch discs from other Mitsubishi models that 220-225mm 20t 22.5 that would be nice :)
