 Post subject: new/old wheels

I'm looking at getting some new wheels for my 93 lancer.would the wheels from an evo fit straight on and drive alright or is there some hidden problem I should know aboot before hand.just wondering if the offset or something might be different

93 Evo wheels have different stud pattern compared to 93 lancers/Mirages. Evos are 114.3x4 and your probably 100x4 so they plain won't fit.

The GSR is still 4x 100.

Pre 90 lancers are 4x 114.5 as are all 4 stud galants.

Errr, nope. GSR's are definitely 4x114.3...

Measure the distance between the centers of the diagnally opposite bolts.

If it 100mm then it EVO wheels wont fit.

If it 114.5mm then it EVO wheels will fit.

No, chances are they won't fit. Unless the previous owner changed the hubs, it'll just be the factory config of 4x100. Which sucks, cos all the good wheels are 4x114 :x
