With the gen2 its more that the mivec's can have the swaybar mounted to the front strut. Lower models have the swaybar attached to the lower arm like the gen1 setup.

The 95+ gen2 hatches share the shocks with the evo3 as last time I was a rally drive nz dale had stolen the front shocks from his gen2 and stuck them into the evo3.

I think all the rear shock are the same through out the 90's.

Just remember that all coil over or ajustable shocks need to have a cert to be legal

In that case you need to find out the inner diameter of the coil over kit and the outer diameter off your shocks. As the ones i've seen are then welded in place of the factory lower spring seat.

Take the car to a shock shop and ask if the spring mount can be removed and replaced with adjustable platforms. Thats the easiest way and your will get an answer for your car, as it may have had the shocks replaced in the past. Just tell them what your thinking of and how much it would cost to do it.
