 Post subject: CLUTCH FLUID?

hey guys, there is a small container on the right of the brake fluid one and i ssuspect this mite be the hydraulic clutch fluid. am i right? if so what do i top it up with as mine is below the minimum mark and dont know how long it has been :cry: so please if anyone knows what it is and can tell me what to top it up with

Yeah, the little one with the beige cap (well mine's beige) is the clutch fluid. Just use brake fluid to top it up :D

I got some DOT5 brake fluid from Repco and it's works great (you'll probably find some stuff labelled "clutch fluid" for twice the price, but the brake fluid is okay :)

If its really low it could pay to have it bled. AA auto centers do it for 9.99 but they probably dont use dot 5 fluid. ?? Ring and ask personally its cheap enough for me to not bother stuffing around bleeding it myself.

Oh yeah...oops :oops:

If you're changing to a different fluid, it's important to bleed the system. It's not hard, but if you don't have someone to help you, just get it done by a mechanic...
