just curious does a rs clutch bolt straight onto normal mivec engines (im talking 95 new shape here) also is it true that RS's run bigger brakes at th front( i was told evo 3 type) and th same with the extractors, they appear visibly bigger than a standard one. if this is true they must run slightly higher output no??

Gidday mivecd,

The RS's have different clutch material but should mate up.

RS's have bigger brakes as an option. The bigger brakes reduce fade. Standard brakes with better pads should be all that is needed.

The pipes are a bigger diameter on an RS.

I have seen lots of info on RS's but all give the same power rating as non RS.

If you want a printout on all RS extras post your email address and I will shoot them to you.

Rob.

Yes there are some RS' that got the bigger brakes although mine is the only one i've come across, I have 4 x 114.3 PCD whereas other RS' like Mcborgs run 4x100 PCD. And yes same as evo 3 (276mm rotors with twin pot calipers). I could show you my ex RS clutch too, it did 90'000 km and a whole lot of flat changes before the release bearing shat itslef. But the units are the same to mount up as a standard clutch.
