RS mirages come with a 2.9 turn steering rack as the wheel base is so short.

The Evo RS(456) 2.2 turn rack makes them like a go-kart. Only a quick 3" movement will throw the car around at 100kph, enough to change lanes with alarming speed.

The 2.2 turn would be fine for a lancer but the 2.9 turn in amirage RS or a standard evo(456) rack is more than enough for any hatch.

I personally love it, but for most drivers it'd be very very dangerous!

2.2 evo6 RS
2.9 evo 4,5,6
2.9 mirage RS
3.2 stock mirage

I love my 2.2 rack, you actually get used to them quite quickly.
WRC cars are either 1.6 or 1.8 turns!!!

Boofhead, have you read anything written here?
Quote:
2.2 evo6 RS
2.9 evo 4,5,6
2.9 mirage RS
3.2 stock mirage

Does that answer your question?

um no not really
mabe i should add some detail.....
I have a gen1 mirage
and a rs lancer (94) so if they fit i could just swap them over
question was will they fit
the turning specs just say Min.turning radius, m, 5.1
and being a RS not actually sure what spec it is anyway
wether its 2.2 or 2.9 or if gsr rs is different

-the above doesnt cover that man

probably yes

Well, turn the steering wheel on the RS and count if it 2.2 or 2.9 or whatever!!!
If you get a number you like, then have a measure up of the mounts.
If that looks good trial fit it.
If that works, be proud you've pioneered something new.

mirage hubs are drill closer to the piviot than evo one thats where the turn radius comes in. A quick rack turns from lock to lock quicker but not any further.
