 Post subject: evo 5 arms on gen 1

will evo 5 rear lower arms fit my gen 1 mirage im afer a wider track would prefer not to use spacers

Nope.

The rear arms on an evo 5 attach to the subframe. The do not match up to the body mounts on the mirage. The evo rear lower arm is shorter than the 2wd lower arm
The rear shock lower bush on mirage is in the shock. On the evo 5 it is in the arm

Forgot to mention my mirage is 4x4 does that change anything

Nope. rear beam is still totally different. 4wd and 2wd Mirage use same arms. Neither can use evo 5 rear suspension.

EVO 3 swing arms will give a slightly wider rear track as will the front arms

Thanks for the info looks like its gona b evo 3 arms then.just after a little more width
