zoey,

Wow... smaller tensioner bearings? My gawd... is there a need to go to that? 137teeth is too few teeth to be used even for a small tensioner bearing. The original 4G93 timing belt is already 156 teeth. You really need to double check the belt bro....:)

samkry,

Hardly possible to fit a 4G63 belt in there... too short 153teeth... are you using this belt???

Im interested, all you guys rave on about this 4G93 conversion

I want to know some solid figures. Wheel KWs

IMO its a waste of time, no one has talked about the gain with doing this conversion, you guys are just confusing yourselves with which cambelt to use, and that powersteer/ ac pumps stuffing out

So hit me, from what i have seen a reasonably stock good nick Gen2 mivec RS ZR whatever, gets between 95-100kw@wheels
My tired Gen2 got 92kw@wheels (probably lowest kw Gen2 around)

So what you guys must be getting 120-130kw@wheels

Anyways hit us with some figures im busting to know :D

ok 162WHP that equates to 120.8kw@wheels, thats ok what mods have you done to achieve that? And do you think it was worth the 20kw@wheel gain?

Thanks :D

Yeah i know Heath im on the edge of making a complete big post to put a end to all this useless information about timing belts and the 4G93 block conversion as every month there is always someone from overseas bringing this up and it gets nowhere

no problem cameron. initially i cant afford a 4G92 halfcut that is why i resorted to this hybrid. the plan was to have a pocket-rocket for me to use daily without sacrificing realibility. i know that i have not push my engine to the maximum yet, maybe when i have the free time and budget to fool around.

btw, the current record here is 189whp with emanage.
