as title asks can i pull the cam try with the cams still in it? got a leak between tray and head that i need to seal up

also what the best way to remove it i've tried once already and that bugger is stuck good and proper which made me wonder if i missed bolts etc.

Have you tried tightening the tray bolts back up to spec?


Yes the tray will come off WITH the cams.
It's just a case of removing all the right bolts.
Maybe you missed some.

i don't think the builder used the right kind of sealant it's also boosted to positive crank case pressure doesn't help keep the oil inside if there's a break in the sealant layer. it's probably just glues good and proper in the places it's not leaking.
