Hi guys

Refurb of my rally car and mistakenly connected the battery in reverse.
Satria/Mirage hybrid with 1.6 (non-turbo) Mivec engine.

ECU is getting 12V at both switched power supply pins.
Not getting 12V at back-up 12V pin.
Not getting 5V at pin for sensors (more like .04V).
Appears to have a bloated diode on the board. See pic.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

To anyone reading this. I've tested the diode off the board and it appears fine. Looking for a replacement ECU now. Anyone know which vehicle this come on standard ? 98 Satria...??

1.8 Satria did not come with this ECU.
Only 1.6 MIVEC equipped cars did.

Best thing to do if you are looking for one is just type in that MD part number into ebay.co.uk since they had a fair few of those cars.
