Next stage is 390cc injectors, piggyback ECU and a remap and a few general bits. Then it's saving time for high lift cams, strengthened valve springs, Jenveys and some major head work. Want it running near 300bhp possibly more if I can without going down the turbo route.

Hope you like all comments welcome

but 128,71kW there is ~175PS, not 198PS ;)
and torque too high 8)

the car was measured on a dyno?

Haven't got a clue mate this is just the spec I got with the car. Remember it isn't a 1.6 any more though it's now a 1.8 and does have more torque than what it did have as using full GSR bottom end as I know some people change the pistons but this wasn't the case with this build. Leaves the new Honda civic type R's for dust and raced a BMW 330d the other night and he couldn't get away until top end as Im using my original short ratio cyborg box

Welcome to the club, nice car.
Though some of those specs are definitely wrong. For starters bore and stroke is listed for the 1.6 not the 1.8 (89mm stroke).
And capacity of the 1.8 is 1,834cc, not 1797.

It seems the person who sold it used some specs from the DC2 Type R engine

I bought it off my mate who was also a member on the coltuk forum and when he put it up for sale he just copied and pasted all of the previous advert from when he bought it and just changed the bits he had had done to the car while owning it.

He must of not changed it due to not knowing

Can I just add aswell that looking on a few sites I've read that the bore on a 4G93 GSR lump is 81mm as you can use the 4G92 pistons :/

Thats what Spetz is saying, if it has a 1800 block its 1834cc, the pistons are the same size bore on 1600 and 1800 the difference being a longer stroke which results in probably more torque down low but sacrificing top end due to not reving as high, however there is ways around this if you are prepared to spend lots of coin :D

but it revs up to 9000rpm until it hits limiter :/ lol. It was all done properly and had £1500 spent on the engine as it was originally a genuine Cyborg R and through a piston out the block so made more sense to 1.8 it.

Got my throttle bodies now, so now saving up for Jun cams and valve springs, piggy back ecu and considering getting a good port and polish done depends on how long it will be off the road though

Gen 1 rev counters are never accurate, its a good buy that it has the 1800 in it, as you say do a few engine mods and it should be good up top as well as hugely torquey which is good for a daily :D

It's never used as a daily keeps mikeage down plus once its finished and with our roads will be more of a weekend fun car

Currently awaiting fitting are

High flow fuel rail
Uprated FPR
47.5mm individual throttle bodies
390cc injectors
GREDDY piggyback
Then remap :D

Then next year forged conrods and full head rebuild with port polish and jun type 2 cams and cusco LSD

So bit of an update on the car. It was running lean and luckily only damage caused was melted headgasket between cylinders 2 and 3.

So engines been stripped down

Full head rebuild with port and polish to match throttle bodies. Titanium valve stems and full head refurb with valves being reseated.

Bottom end has only covered low mileage so its having just a new oil and water pump

Other bits being changed are

Lightened forged crank pulley
Adjustable cam pulleys
New transparent cam cover
Exedy lightened flywheel
Exedy race clutch
Jasma high flow fuel rail
Throttle bodies being fitted
FPR adjustable
HKS oil filter and GREDDY oil cooler
GREDDY emanage blue with GREDDY MAP sensor
Decat pipe
390cc injectors

And then remap hopefully get some gains

Also had full cusco 6 point dash dodger cage fitted.

Well guys the car was finished and running ITB's and it was epic to say the least. Emanage blue wasn't the best management for it and its now off the road until next week where its having an Omex 600 standalone ecu, new sensors and some other bits done which will hopefully see me closer to the 200bhp mark. But the sound and the way it delivers the power is completely different as soon as mivec kicks in its immense.

I have tried to upload pics but it won't allow me so please click the link below and have a look at my work and the ups and downs I had due to it being completely ballsed up and then having to rebuild it again myself

http://www.coltuk.org/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=23521

For those that think ITB's are just a ricer mod I strongly disagree itbs are used in all forms of Motorsport including F1 and so on. I could of just stuck a turbo on or replaced my engine with an Evo lump but I've wanted a genuine Borg for ages and when I finally tracked one down I felt it would be wrong to change it from its original roots an decided to stay N/A

Please enjoy
