Racing this weekend at Manfield, dual driving with Chook should be fun as long as the weather is dry, new wider tyres on the front and the brake bias issue sorted should be up for some quick times hopefully 19s or quicker :D

Nice work Cam :) saw it at hard park last weekend and its cooler than ever, was keen to say hi but after the long hassle trying to even park for 45minutes i just did a quick sweep and got out of there :?

but not without a sneaky pic, hope you don't mind :wink:

Yeah still the same old, I drive it to track days, race it and drive it back home, cant complain :lol:

Hey Cameron,

What does the car weigh at the moment?
What else were you thinking of doing in terms of weight reduction?
Apart from the usual stripping of rear seats, carpets, sound deadening, audio etc, have you done any other weight reduction that was a bit more difficult or expensive like have you cut any metal bits or brackets out of the car? I saw that you did the front subframe that was cool, can you do anything like that for the rear, like a new trailing arm?

I have done everything i can to reduce weight but keep the car road legal, i have now even shortened my exhaust path to remove 2 exhaust hangers and use less pipe. I have light weight custom suspension arms in the rear already, Racefab ones, the car weighs 910kg with a steel cage, full panels and glass with just a carbon bonnet (and guards which probably save half a kg a side max) It has no carpet/ lightweight seats, no radio, ive cut a huge amount of metal brackets out, the rear trailing arms only run the camber arm now no toe arm so the brakets have been removed for this also, I have worked for15 years on weight reduction.

Yeah Splitter will work but i need some fine tuning on it and a rear difuser to make it really work a bit better, car is unstable still at high speeds on the track :shock:

That's a pretty decent weigh saving.

What brand is the carbon hood?
And is fitment good?
