Hi, this is my new project with some help of my friend Ed Boost it will be on the road in a short time... i started with a 1997 bone stock mirage ls with 83,584 on the odometer, the next step was to take of the original engine and transmission of the car so we can play a little with the engine bay... just got a 6G75 engine of a 2008 Mitsubishi eclipse with 26,795 miles... i'm planing on keeping the a/c and p/s on the car so i will be using the oem 6G75 a/c compressor and power steering pump... i still have a issue with the transmission don't know if i'm going with the stock 6 speed or with a 5 speed... here are some pictures of the process. Also on the way there are rear disc brake conversion and '99 front brake conversion, Evo 4 Front lip and Eclipse Turbo muffler...

Enjoy.
Just got home...

Brilliant, that's one of my "want to do one day when I've got nothing else to do" plans.Got to have boost though and 4WD to put it to the road.
Looking forward to seeing it go.

But just to wind you up......the mivec is a bit like the first evo lancer mivec, it's only half mivec at best, just on the intake cam.
Plus the motor makes less HP than the 30M.

Steve

Very impressive, make sure to keep us posted.
Will it be street driven?
And what kind of times are you chasing?

Will the engine mounts be custom?
And do you know how heavy that motor is?

The mounts don't just bolt into the car though do they?

Will you end up weighing the engine? It must be considerably heavier than a 4G9X

the harness is custom made with a pajero/montero ecu
this is how the front of the car is going to look, obviously painted white, the lip is a JDM evo4 front lip.
