Looks really good. How much power are you expecting?

How did it go with the low comp pistons while NA?

with the low comp pistons using stock ecu, the car would not idle. part throttle was ok, not the normal quick acceleration you have with the oem mivec pistons. difficulty revving to 8000rpm. only kept in the stock ecu for 500 miles. i then have switch to haltech E8.

with the setup right now i am running a 15psi wastegate spring. i am expecting anywhere between 240hp - 270ph to the wheels. will be keeping the timing conservative. this is going to be a street sleeper.

Did you choose the water to air intercooler for the sleeper effect?

yes it was for the sleeper effect and i thought that i could also use ice if need be. i also had an air to air, which worked well, a water to air is a complicated setup, but it sure does look different when you pull the hood.

Looks good, Could you not have used a 4G93T exhaust manifold instead of the fabricated one?
I've got a feeling that after 6 months it'll either crack or warp at the flange. Either way it'll leak.
Yes, I've built similar looking ones myself in the past. Nothing but ongoing hassles.
Sorry but it's meant to be a constructive criticism, not a put down.........From experience.

everyone is allow his own opinion. your experience/problems might not be mine. No offense taken.

these were pieces i Had previously, so if and when the manifold cracks or leaks, i will deal with it. I have had it for 4 years, so i guess i have gotten my monies worth.

i had the downpipe and manifold from a previous built, so i just used them. 4G93T manifolds are not readily available in this neck of the woods.

update. no vids as yet. using a pwr barrel liquid to air intercooler. during the tuning sessions have noted the intake air temps reaching as high as 160F. only running 15psi. would estimate my power around 250-280hp to the wheels. so quite disappointed about these results as this barrel is rated to 500hp. i really like this setup, and it was not cheap. I have found a solution at a good price. i will be ordering a larger liquid to air intercooler from http://www.frozenboost.com/
