Nope problem at all....perfectly good
love it so much it's been doin real well cuz i take good care of her
i change engine oil every 5000km
basically the total mod of 1.8 block is arounf 4.5K cuz i done crank shaft balancing, change to oversized pistons 82mm rebore, adjustable cam pulley, ngk spark plugs cable, iridium denso ik22 spark plugs, port n polish,SAFCII engine management, rechip to no speed cut,rev up to 8.5K,2 evos mounting n 1rally mounting n 1 original mounting,Sard fuel regulator, execedy racing clutch 3 puck, toyota vacumm switch (levin4throttle),aluminium crank pulley(smaller ones) that's all the mod i hav done but there's still more to my suspension and anti roll bar total plus halfcut 1.6 mivec is 15K++ really satisfied me...

Hi alex962,
Your fuel regulator set at how many bar ? If not mistaken the stock pressure regulator is about 2.5 bar. You install the after market fuel regulator b4 or after the stock pressure regulator? And the evo fuel pump need to modify b4 install? My ride is wira auroback is it the same mounting method applying? Too many questions since i quite interest to install it.

Just out of curiosity, what is needed to bolt the 1.8 block onto the 1.6 MIVEC head?? do u have to upgrade the pistons/rings/rods etc etc, or can u just bolt it all up and run an after market ECU ??

well mik_e it's it is'nt that simple just plunk a 1.8l block on ur mivec head head..lotsa thing hav to come into consideration...if u dun change the pistons then it would probably very high compression n end up engine knocking,so i change to a oversize pistons which is lower than the original compression..timing belt, readjust back the timing, well if ur into power u just gotta do lotsa things....PnP,skim flywheel, crank pulley aluminium, adjustable cam pulley, which ever contribute to increase ur car horse power...
